where vulnerability is honored,
where strength is found in softness,
& where art blooms in the tension between
fragility and resilience.

As Part of the Wild Roots Collective, I collaborate representing the values of the collective.

Through my art, I design gardens that engage the senses - inviting touch, sound, and scent. My work explores the idea that beauty often needs protection, and that resilience can live inside softness.

Gardens are not meant to be perfect or static; they are organic, ever-changing, and a reflection of life itself

As a visual artist, gardener, and photographer, my relationship with plants has deeply shaped my creative process. The thorns of a rose protect it from harm, serving as a necessary form of defense in the wild. Yet, there’s a certain softness in their function; without the thorns, the rose might not thrive as it does, its fragility would make it vulnerable. The thorns are a silent guardian, a paradoxical beauty in their harshness.

Soft Thorns is both an homage to this natural dichotomy and a reflection on how we navigate vulnerability and strength in our own lives. Through my art, I capture the subtle yet powerful relationship between the plant’s tenderness and its protection, examining how beauty often requires defense and how resilience can exist within softness.

sometimes
the most fragile things
are the strongest.

We believe in creating gardens that speak to the senses.

Beyond just being visually appealing, we design gardens that invite touch, sound, and scent, making them more than just a backdrop but an experience in themselves.

Just as life flows in cycles, your garden will shift and grow with the seasons. Whether it’s the vibrant burst of color in the spring, the lush fullness of summer, the delicate fading beauty of autumn, or the quiet stillness of winter, every season brings a new chapter in your garden’s story. Our designs reflect this continuous change, encouraging you to find beauty in all stages of growth, bloom, and transformation.

A Reflection of Impermanence and Resilience

Gardens are not meant to be perfect or static; they are organic, ever-changing, and a reflection of life itself.
This embrace of impermanence is woven into every garden we design together. We invite you to find joy not only in the lush fullness of a garden but in the subtle moments of decay, the fleeting blooms, and the transformation of each season.
